Vitrification Course
Course Objective
To provide each candidates with the principles of cryobiology. Training staff will work one-on-one with trainees throughout the course, providing a total overview an continuous assessment. Candidates will be given mice oocytes for hands-On.
Duration: Two days course
- To learn about equipments, and consumable for vitrification.
- To learn about the principles of Cryobiology including comparison of slow freezing and vitrification.
- To learn about the practice of vitrification of oocytes.
- To learn about embryos and blastocysts vitrification.
- To learn about different vitrification systems.
- To learn about thawing.
- To learn about optimizing cooling and warming protocols.
Eligibility
Medical graduate or Post-graduates, in an appropriate area of life sciences. Applicant with a B Sc (Bachelor of Science) MSc Graduates will be acceptable for training Lab technicians, clinical embryologists, research scientists wishing to introduce vitrification as a new service or those seeking to optimize their results.
